Star Power: Becoming a Stella & Dot Stylist

After I had my kids, I felt like I lost myself for a while. Of course I adore my children and they’re incredibly important in my life, but I had a moment of wondering, “Is that all there is?”

Even with our most cherished and important life events, jobs or relationships these questions rise up. I realized I wanted something more – I needed to find more joy, happiness and more ‘me’ time.

When I became an S&D stylist, I didn’t intend to do it full time and I still don’t. Literally and figuratively, Stella & Dot allows you to style your life the way you want.

The Transformation

I was recently featured in an online profile on Stella & Dot’s website wearing the Oasis Bib necklace you see here. I love this piece, though it’s been retired from the collection. (Nab something if you see it because certain items may not last forever!)

I work more than I thought I would and make more money than I anticipated. I just expected to style people for fun and get paid, so it was a surprise to get promoted from Stylist to Star in eight months, which is a fairly short amount of time.

The best part is that I – or you – can have another job and still be a successful stylist: just adjust the time commitment and your goals accordingly.

For me, being promoted to Star Stylist means I transitioned from working solo to having a team of 15 people, coaching them and selling a lot of product. I upped my coaching rate and doubled my income just by sponsoring and selling!

The Journey

In the beginning, each month I just wanted to sell $250, then $500, then $750 and so on. Selling $5000 a month is my new goal. I’m also a Public Relations professional, so I treat styling as if it were another PR account: I promote it big time on social media but I also wear it. I’m passionate about the jewelry and the company so it’s easy!

Many women seek something expansive to get involved with and might join a book club or the Junior League. Becoming an S&D stylist gives people a fun activity in a community of women while they also learn about selling, gain confidence and look cuter while they do it.

Beyond that, we have women who are leaving abusive marriages, paying for family vacations, single moms who are taking their kids to Lego-land for the first time, women supplementing their husband’s income so their kids can go to private school, using the extra cash for In-Vitro Fertilization or even buying a car that they’ve always wanted… It’s changing families.

I enjoy being more fashionable and on trend – now I’ll go to a baseball game wearing something adorable; I never would have done that before!

The Rewards for Being a Stella & Dot Stylist

There are different career ranks (Stylist, Lead Stylist, Associate Stylist, Senior Stylist, and Star Stylist, Associate Director, Director, Senior Director and Star Director) and compensation levels (from $200 a month to upwards of $17,000 a month at the highest levels).

Best of all, you’ll have fun drinking wine or coffee and selling jewelry! You can reach out to me directly to learn how to jump on this amazing opportunity, join a dynamic community and go at your own pace. To learn how to throw your own party, click HERE and connect with me.
